Boardwalk Bullies Speaker's Bureau

The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies offer area businesses, schools, and community organizations the chance to host a Bullies player, coach, or front office member as a featured guest speaker at their event. In 2003-04, members of the Boardwalk Bullies spoke to over 50 civic organizations and schools, visiting Rotary clubs as far south as Cape May County, as far north as Asbury Park, and as far west as Pennsville.

Youth Character Development Program

The Bullies believe that developing good character is an important part
of a well-rounded education. As part of this philosophy, the Bullies will
hold a series of assemblies throughout the year at area schools to help
students understand the role that education, community service and drug-free
living play in their lives.

Ocean City Home Bank "Check It Out Reading Program"

In 2003-04, the inaugural "Check It Out Reading Program" sponsored by Ocean City Home Bank attracted 10 schools in South Jersey and a total of 2,425 students. Students who read anywhere from three to nine books over the course of two months are awarded up to 6 tickets to a designated Bullies home game. Students are personally introduced to the program through a school-wide assembly hosted by a Bullies player and Wooly Bully. Contact Dan Weiss at (609) 348-7809 for more information or to find out how your school can be apart of the "Check It Out Reading Program."

"Shoot For Goals" Achievement Programs

The Boardwalk Bullies encourage students to stay in school and earn good grades. A student who has perfect attendance or makes the honor roll for a designated school quarter is eligible to receive a voucher good for a free ticket to an upcoming Bullies home game. Contact Dan Weiss at (609) 348-7809 for more information or to find out how your school can enroll in the "Shoot For Goals" Achievement Programs.
