Internships
The
Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies, the 2003 ECHL Kelly
Cup Champions have proven to be one of the ECHL's premier
franchises in their first two years.
The Bullies are a dynamic organization that has
a tremendous amount to offer internship candidates.
-Interns
with the Bullies must be eligible to receive college credit
for their work from an accredited College or University.
All Bullies internships are unpaid experiences.
Interns
must possess the following characteristics:
-Professional
appearance.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills.
-Be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects
at any given time.
-Have reliable transportation
-Able to work nights and weekends.
-Dynamic and friendly personality.
The
Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies offer internship opportunities
in the following departments.
Marketing
and Promotions Internship
-Assist
the Marketing and Promotions Coordinator with sponsorship
fulfillment.
-Assist with game night promotions.
-Maintain sponsorship files and database.
Ticket
Sales Internship:
-Assist
the ticket sales department with game day operations
-Data entry and database management.
-Professional telephone etiquette.
-Attend public appearances and events.
Finance
and Administration Internship:
-Assist
the finance department in day-to-day responsibilities
-Manage merchandise orders
-Data entry and database management
-Respond to fan mail.
-Additional duties as assigned
Media
Relations Internship:
-Assist
Public Relations/Broadcasting Director with fulfillment
of media requests
-Assist in press box operations
-Assist in media dissemination
-Assist in internal public relations
-Keep files on all team and league press releases
-Maintain newspaper-clipping archive
Community
Relations Internship:
-Schedule
and execute promotional appearances by players and mascot.
-Assist the community relations department with
the research, design and implementation of community
relations programs.
-Assist in implementation of school outreach program.
-Fulfill donation requests.
-Maintain photo archive.
